John S. Kelley Jr

John S. Kelley, Jr. is the sole practitioner in the Kelley Law Office firm.  He is a life long resident of Bardstown, KY.  John graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1978 with a degree in Business Administration.  He continued his studies at the University of Kentucky Law School where he received his Juris Doctorate in May of 1981.  John was admitted to the practice of law in Kentucky in October of 1981.

Thereafter he began his law practice in Bardstown when he joined the firm of Kelley & Heaton.  He is also admitted to practice in the US District Court Eastern District of Kentucky, US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the US Supreme Court. In 1998 he was elected Nelson County Attorney.  He also has served as Bardstown City Attorney and has served on the Bardstown City Council.  John is the fourth generation Kelley to practice law in Bardstown.
